The carrier is whole micronized full-fat linseed, which brings 2.2g of omega 3 with it.

Dose is the thing to get right here, because the two rates are very different. Equine America give 30g a day for a 500kg horse during peak disruption and 15g a day for maintenance, with 60g as the ceiling. A 450g tub therefore covers 15 days at the disruption rate and 30 days at maintenance — Equine America's headline 30-day supply is the maintenance figure, not the loading one.
<>
Performance & Benefits

Live yeast at 2.5 x 10^10 cfu per 30g serving, from Saccharomyces cerevisiae MUCL 39885.

10g of fructo-oligosaccharide prebiotic per 30g serving.

2.5g of mannan-oligosaccharide per 30g serving.

2.2g of omega 3 fatty acids per serving from the full-fat linseed base.

Apple flavouring at 10g per kg, which helps it go down in a fussy horse's bucket.

Equine America state Pro Gut Balancer is BETA NOPS and UFAS accredited and suitable for horses competing under FEI regulations and the Rules of Racing.

<>
Suitable For

Horses travelling, moving yards, or going away to stud.

Supporting the gut through a course of antibiotics or a period of illness, on veterinary advice.

Horses on a high-concentrate ration where fibre digestion needs supporting.

Competition horses needing a NOPS-accredited product.

Not a treatment for gastric ulcers, which are a diagnosis and a prescription rather than a supplement.
