Equus Health call it simply irresistible, and describe it as a food appetiser that can tempt the fussiest feeders and brighten up a plain feed — which is exactly the job it is bought for in most cases.

The second use is the gut. Equus Health say it supports the digestive system, particularly in horses prone to gassy colic, crib biting and windsucking. At the published 20g a day, this 1kg pack runs for about seven weeks, which makes it the size for a horse that is going to stay on it.
<>
Performance & Benefits

100% dried spearmint, one ingredient and nothing else.

Fed as a food appetiser to tempt fussy feeders.

Brightens up an otherwise plain feed.

Equus Health link it to support for the digestive system.

Named by them for horses prone to gassy colic, crib biting and windsucking.

Its strong scent also helps mask a less palatable supplement fed in the same bucket.

<>
Suitable For

Fussy feeders that leave the bucket half full.

Horses on a plain, low-interest ration that needs something to lift it.

Horses prone to gassy colic, or that crib bite and windsuck.

Owners feeding it daily and long term, where the 1kg is the more economical pack.

Not for a mare in foal without veterinary advice — Equus Health carry that warning on the product.
