naf-five-star-oestress-liquid-5l
NAF Five Star Oestress Liquid - 5L

NAF Five Star Oestress Liquid – 5L

Oestress Liquid is NAF's Five Star support for mares whose season affects their behaviour and their work. It is a tincture rather than a powder, which puts the plant extracts into solution and makes them quick to take up — chastetree, black cohosh, milk thistle, rosehip, turmeric and ginger, in measured quantities per litre.

Bio-available magnesium chloride sits alongside the herbs to help relax muscle tension. NAF's own framing is regularity rather than suppression: the aim is a predictable cycle, not an absent one. The 5L is the refill size, which earns its keep if you are feeding two mares or running through a whole season.
<>
Performance & Benefits

Fast-acting liquid tincture, absorbed more readily than a powdered equivalent.

Chastetree and black cohosh tinctures at 288ml and 240ml per litre respectively.

Bio-available magnesium chloride to ease muscle tension.

Milk thistle, rosehip, turmeric and ginger for antioxidant support.

5L refill — roughly 200 days at the 25ml maintenance rate.

Audited under the BETA NOPS scheme as suitable for FEI competition.

<>
Suitable For

Mares whose temperament or performance changes with their cycle.

Spring and summer feeding, or year-round use where it is needed.

Yards with more than one mare on the supplement.

Riders who would rather add a liquid than a powder to the feed.

Not for pregnant mares or broodmares close to covering — see Care & Caution.

<>
Feeding

Loading rate for 3–7 days: 75–100ml daily.

Maintenance: 25–50ml daily.

Move back towards the peak rate in line with her cycle if behaviour changes.

NAF put a 1L bottle at about 40 days at 25ml, so 5L covers roughly 200 days at maintenance.

Measure into the feed daily.

<>
Composition & Analysis

Composition: magnesium chloride, glycerine, calcium carbonate, monoglycerides of fatty acids (oleic acid).

Herbal tinctures per litre: chastetree 288ml, black snowball 240ml, black cohosh 105ml.

Also per litre: milk thistle 33.40ml, rosehip 29.70ml, turmeric 18.50ml, ginger 14.80ml.

5L refill.
