Learning Grows Along with Baby

Every baby develops at their own pace, and Smart Stages technology allows you to select the stage that's best for your little learner. In each level, Puppy offers a variety of developmentally appropriate songs, sounds and phrases to keep your baby engaged. Just slide the switch to select a level! First, Puppy will introduce more than 100 first words, the alphabet, different colors, and more as babies press different areas on his cuddly little body. Next, he'll encourage little ones to count along and identify different parts of the body with fun and rewarding phrases. Then, toddlers can continue the learning fun by playing pretend with their good pal Puppy, singing along to fun songs and expanding their vocabulary.

See What Develops

Playful songs, sounds and phrases introduce parts of the body, colors, the alphabet, counting, and more, and encourage thinking skills as your baby finds their own ears, tummy and heart. Plus, as your little one discovers that their touch makes Puppy speak and sing, they see that their actions can make fun things happen (aka cause and effect).

Where development comes into play!

ABC’s Most of us learned our ABC’s by singing them—the rhythm and repetition of songs make things easy to remember. That’s why we’ve included sing-along songs, rich music and fun sounds in all the toys and activities.	1-2-3’s The idea of numbers and counting starts to make sense when babies can point to “one, two, three” peas on their tray or put food shapes into a refrigerator. Laugh & Learn toys and activities teach numbers and counting in a natural way, with sing-along songs to help baby remember.	Shapes & Colors Sorting, stacking, and unstacking help baby understand the basics of sizes, spatial relationships and shapes. Babies learn colors in a similar everyday way—yellow isn’t just yellow, it’s a yellow cup or a yellow banana.	First Words At first, your baby learns to associate sounds with images, such as “moo” cow or “baa” lamb. They’ll learn adjectives in context, like big door or red apple. Opposites too, like up and down.
