Scruffs Manhattan Box Bed Blue L

Scruffs Manhattan Box Bed – Denim Blue, Large 75 x 60cm

The Manhattan is a plain bed done carefully: a soft marl fabric in denim blue, stitched to match on the outside, with filled sidewalls that carry through into the base so there is no drop between the wall and the sleeping surface. The Large measures 75 x 60cm.

Its distinguishing feature is SecureTech, which is the Scruffs name for anchoring the filling in four places inside the bed. Loose wadding in a dog bed migrates — it ends up in one corner after a few washes and leaves the rest thin. Anchoring it is the difference between a bed that lasts a year and one that lasts three.

Performance & Benefits

• SecureTech anchors the filling in four places so it cannot migrate in the wash.
• One-piece construction with no cover to remove or lose.
• Soft marl fabric with matching outer stitching.
• Sidewalls filled to the same depth as the base.
• 100% recycled polyester fill.
• Machine washable at 30 degrees.

Suitable For

• Medium to large dogs — collies, springers, slimmer labradors.
• Dogs that lean or rest their head on the side of a bed.
• Households washing bedding often, where filling migration is the usual failure.
• Rooms where a plain, quiet colour works better than a pattern.
• A small dog will be lost in 75 x 60cm — the Scruffs Manhattan Box Bed Blue Small 50 x 40cm suits a terrier or a dachshund.

How to Use

• Place on a level floor out of a through-draught.
• Machine wash at 30 degrees — a 75 x 60cm bed needs a reasonable drum size.
• Do not bleach and do not tumble dry.
• Reshape the sidewalls by hand while damp and dry the bed flat.
